  • CLHS SPIRIT WEAR ORDERING SEPTEMBER 9th

    Students and staff interested in ordering SPIRIT WEAR can place orders starting Thursday September 9th.  Order forms will be distributed in TAGS and available at the office.  Be a part of the experience!  Check them outOrder instructions and Order Forms are available on line! 
  • Parent-Teacher Meet & Greet Date Change!

    Parents and members of the community are invited to meet the CLHS staff at Soholt Field, Friday September 3rd at half-time (6:00 PM) of the exhibition game, where the Royals play Ashbury College from Ottawa.   CLHS staff will be there to welcome you and look forward to meeting you.  Come on out and enjoy the game which starts at 5:00 PM!

Cold Lake High School, located adjacent to Imperial Park and connected to Portage College and the Energy Centre, is a new facility that opened in August, 2009.  The high school will house up to 800 students from grades 9 to 12.  The facility includes a fully equipped Industrial Education Lab, Home Economics and Fashion area, a three stage gymnasium, a 205 seat theatre as well as a fitness room and a cafeteria with a commercially equipped kitchen.  The cafeteria will seat over 300 students.  Supporting the education of students is a technology backbone, whereby students will have access to MacIntosh computers on a wireless network throughout their stay in Cold Lake High School.

We believe that, given a safe and caring environment, all students can and will learn.  It is the duty of staff and students to help create and maintain that environment.  Each teacher is responsible for providing the best learning atmosphere possible and each student t is expected to access their educational opportunity to its fullest.  Parents are an integral part of the learning process and as such must assume a major role in the overall education of their children.
