All students, staff and visitors are required to complete the COVID-19 Alberta Health Daily Checklist before coming to school each day and follow the direction provided in the document if they answer "Yes" to any of the questions.

Learning to Fillet Fish

Mr. Walker was teaching our Gr.9 Outdoor Ed. students how to fillet fish. Then the students got to practice on some trout that were donated by the Cold Lake Fish Hatchery. Experiential Learning!!!

Pink Day!!

Dodgeball Intramurals

The Gr.11 and 12 dodgeball teams were involved in some fierce competition during intramurlas.

Coffeehouse 2017

Last night, the Cold Lake High School Leadership group held its annual Coffee House event. There were amazing performances by students, staff and other individuals and groups. The event raised $1400 for the Stollery Children's Foundation. Thanks to the Leadership Group for organizing this event. SET Conference

On Saturday Mrs. Dusyk-Johnson and 14 girls from Cold Lake HS had an opportunity to take part in the SET (Science, Engineering and Technology) conference at the University of Alberta. This event was coordinated through WISEST (Women In Scholarship Engineering Science & Technology) at the U of A

The 14 girls from CLHS explored sciences at the post-secondary level and careers beyond post secondary. They attended labs, and networked with female post secondary students, as well as women working in a variety of science fields.

Unified Baggo Tournament

Cold Lake High School hosted a Unified Baggo tournament.  This is where intellectually challenged students are partnered with other students to compete in a bean bag toss tournament.  Everyone had a fun time!!!

CLHS Raises $440 for Lunch Program

The staff and students of CLHS rasied $440 for our lunch program.  The money is used to help purchase lunches for the less fortunate students at our school.  Some of the teachers agreed to wear certain styled moustaches or shave their moustache off if certain tiers of money were raised!!

Block 3 Physics 30 Egg Drop

The Block 3 Physics 30 class did some deep thinking today.  They had to design an apparatus to cushion the fall of an egg.  Some of them were successful in stopping the fall of the their egg before it went splat!!!  While others created scrambled eggs.
